With the 2014 FIFA World Cup set to begin in under two weeks now, the anticipation for the games are quickly reaching fever pitch. And why shouldn’t it? It’s literally the only time every four years that the world’s most popular sport becomes such in the states. And we all know that if you can make American’s care about something that they normally don’t, its kind of a big deal. The spirit of competition and union of nation’s is enough to make some get behind the impending games. But for sneakerheads, it’s the kicks that bring us on board.
Many of our favorite brands have released sneakers inspired by the World Cup and the games host country of Brazil. And with others on the way, it’s safe to say sneakers donned in green, yellow and blue have captivated our attention over the past few months. That trend likely won’t slow as the cream is slowly rising to the top with more drops to come.
Today, we highlight six of our favorite Brazil-inspired sneakers (thus far). Check them out below:
Adidas Originals Stan Smith "Battle Pack" World Cup
PUMA Disc Cage Tropical Pack
ASICS Brazil World Cup Pack

Ronnie Fieg x ASICS GT-2 Kith Football Equipment Brazil
